HYST 165V High Collapse-Resistant Casing Successfully Ran in Well

In early May, good news came from PetroChina Southwest Oil & Gas field: the 165V steel grade direct connection type casing independently developed by HYST successfully ran downhole, helping China achieve global leadership in core equipment for oil and gas exploration.
This well is a high-risk exploration well and an ultra-deep well with a designed depth of 8,760 meters. The complex geological environment, including special formations such as salt-gypsum layers, imposes extremely high requirements on the collapse resistance of the casing. Relying on its strengths in technological R&D and high-end manufacturing, HYST tailored a 165V steel grade casing with high collapse resistance for the oilfield, which has successfully run in the well and received high recognition from the customer.
